What do we stand for?

We are a bunch of likeable individuals (sometimes nerdy 😉). We don't always agree, but we are always authentic. We work values-based and sometimes with “Berliner Schnauze”. But always with all our heart.

Values-based organization

Our values are our guiding standards of behavior both internally – with our colleagues – and externally with our clients. We all developed and agreed upon them together. These were not ordered from above. For each value, we took our time to discuss what we understand by it. Here are three of a total of five shared core values at leanovate:

Fairness

We are very honest with each other. We would say: feedback and error culture. Sometimes learning is more important than success.

Pragmatism

We always prefer pragmatic solutions to long-term plans. And we think that this does not detract from our value of quality!

Team spirit

Even though we have to be lone fighters sometimes, the group is most important to us. By the way, integrity is another of our values!

You have a private life?

Us too. And that's exactly why we value flexible working hours, family-friendliness and the possibility to work from home. At the moment we all work completely remotely - and even after COVID-19 we won´t return to a five-days-in-office mode.
But what our future work environment will look like we´ll decide together.

We like working here…

… and make ourselves aware of this. Like at this session at one of our monthly leanovate days. These days, when we learn together, develop the company and ourselves and deliberately do not focus on customer projects, help us to ensure that we all pull together.

You did apply? What happens next?

First of all: After receiving a confirmation of receipt from us, your application will be checked by our hiring team. If we have any questions (e.g. about language skills or your willingness to work remotely), we will contact you directly to clarify this in advance.

After the quick check our hiring process starts:


1. Let's get to know each other!
At first we schedule an appointment for a short get-to-know-you interview over phone or Zoom. Currently all conversations take place remotely via Zoom. The purpose is to assess mutual expectations, key skills you need for the role and whether there´s a personal and cultural fit. You can also ask us all of the questions you may have concerning the job posting or working at leanovate in general.

2. In-depth interview
If both parties think that we´re a match, we make an appointment for a second interview with two employees from the department for which you have applied. This will also give you the opportunity to meet some of your new colleagues and get a better impression of leanovate.

3. What happens after the interview?
Occasionally we do a final interview to clarify details concerning the terms and conditions of employment. And sometimes we invite candidates to one of our leanovate days. That provides the opportunity to meet more of your prospective colleagues.

4. Decision
No matter at what point in the hiring process we decide: you will hear from us in any case, we leave no one without feedback. But if time, facts and feelings fit for all involved: Welcome at leanovate!
